Movie review!!

GRAN TURISMO MOVIE REVIEW

It is a movie that was released less than two weeks ago.

SPOILER ALERT!!
DO NOT READ IF YOU PLAN TO WATCH IT

My boyfriend, his sister and I went to watch this movie last week. It's pretty much about car racing so to be honest I didn't think I would like it however I can say that it exceeded my expectations.

The name of the movie comes from a video game that the main character, Jann Mardenborough, played a lot. The game is a very realistic simulation of car racing and all that it entails. One day, Jann wins a videogame competition organized by an automotive company which gives him the opportunity to get into an academy to train as a racer and compete in the big leagues with world-renowned racers.
At the very beginning he did not have the support from his family, his father was even upset with him and his decision to participate.
He trains really hard in the academy and race against other gamers until he becomes the winner. Jann begins to win not only recognition from people and colleagues but also teasing saying he would never be a real racer but a gamer; however, those actions did not stop him.
One of the most difficult and dangerous race tracks was in Germany, where he competes and unfortunately has a terrible accident that leaves one person dead. After recovering and realizing what had happened, Jann was devastated and almost left the competition, but thanks to the words of his coach, he returned to the track.
The last race he has to perform is the longest, lasting 24 hours. Jann and two other colleagues from the academy accept the challenge. This was the last chance to show their skills; after suffering fatigue among other inconveniences during the hours of the race they managed to position themselves on the podium winning 3rd place!
That's how they proved they were true racers!

The most interesting part of this whole story is that it's based on real facts. It's really crazy how all of this happened at some point.
10/10 recommended!!!

Second Entry

 Hello!

 welcome back!!

I hope all goes well on your end thanks a lot for coming back to my blog.

We know that all of us are about to finish our languages major and become professionals in English and French. In recent years, we have noticed how the interest in learning English has increased in our country, so I took the opportunity to share with you some tips that may help you if you ever get the opportunity to give private classes and you don't know how much to charge. Personally, I found these tips very useful to estimate the amount you can be paid.

1. Local market

You should research the approximate hourly rate in your area as it usually varies from region to region.

2. Field experience

It is important to consider how long you have been working as a teacher, whether you have little or no experience.

3. Class type

The price also depends on whether the class is focused on a specific area or in a general way. Also, if it will be a one time class (consulting type) or if it will be concurrent.

4. Academic level

Your academic level is also determinant since often people have more confidence in a person who has specialized in the area than someone who does not have a degree.

5. Number of learners

When it comes to private lessons, sometimes there is more than one learner. If this is the case, a not so high hourly rate should be established, depending on how many people will be attending.

The above were tips that I found by reading and watching videos, because I was not very knowledgeable on the subject either. It is worth keeping ourselves informed as we do not know when such a job opportunity may come along.

I hope this has been of help.
Thanks for reading!

First entry

Hi y'all and welcome to my blog!

What is this all going to be about?

This is going to be a space where I'll be sharing literally "What goes through my mind" my weekly personal experiences, opinions about life worries, about social problems, motivational stuff, movies reviews (whenever I get a chance to watch one), or any other random topic that I find attractive for you to read:)

Feel free to leave whatever comment you feel like to share with me.

Hope you enjoy this space!

About this blogger:

My name's Norma but my friends call Aby. I'm 23-year old young adult that dissociates a lot and does not know what to do in life hahah. I love pets especially dogs, they are so loyal and  lovely; however, I do not have any because my mom does not like them. We just have their noisy and dirty chickens and hens. I'm the third of 5 siblings but I'm the only one living with my mom.
As most of you, I'm in the last semester of the major which is something that really excites me, but at the same time, I'm afraid of facing new changes and challenges. I guess a lot of you will feel me as we are on the same page of this book called life.
Nice to meet you!

  • August 20th

Sunday is the day many of us spend going to church, so I found it appropriate to share with you the image below.
Many times our mind is tied to some bad moment that we have already experience, cried, hurt and  it prevents us from realizing what we have in TODAY. Personally, many family experiences made me appreciate the present, accept changes and always keep fresh hope. I have found it essential to be grateful, hence thank God daily for what he allows us to live.
I love finding inspirational quotes like this one, so I will most likely share some others here with you.
I feel that this quote might help you to get you in the mood for a focused start to a new week.
Thanks for reading!
Regards.
