Second Entry

 Hello!

 welcome back!!

I hope all goes well on your end thanks a lot for coming back to my blog.

We know that all of us are about to finish our languages major and become professionals in English and French. In recent years, we have noticed how the interest in learning English has increased in our country, so I took the opportunity to share with you some tips that may help you if you ever get the opportunity to give private classes and you don't know how much to charge. Personally, I found these tips very useful to estimate the amount you can be paid.

1. Local market

You should research the approximate hourly rate in your area as it usually varies from region to region.

2. Field experience

It is important to consider how long you have been working as a teacher, whether you have little or no experience.

3. Class type

The price also depends on whether the class is focused on a specific area or in a general way. Also, if it will be a one time class (consulting type) or if it will be concurrent.

4. Academic level

Your academic level is also determinant since often people have more confidence in a person who has specialized in the area than someone who does not have a degree.

5. Number of learners

When it comes to private lessons, sometimes there is more than one learner. If this is the case, a not so high hourly rate should be established, depending on how many people will be attending.

The above were tips that I found by reading and watching videos, because I was not very knowledgeable on the subject either. It is worth keeping ourselves informed as we do not know when such a job opportunity may come along.

I hope this has been of help.
Thanks for reading!

  1. Very well ! it would be an excellent option or imagine if you live in an urban area you can start teaching personalized English classes at home, and then we can rent a place to set up our own academy, for example.
Thank you for sharing business ideas focused on language teaching.

  3. Thanks for the tips! I am in a situation where I got a very good job opportunity teaching in a Canadian company and when they asked me for the hourly rate I did not know where to start or where to put my limit. I will probably re-think about how much to charge for my classes now.
